I am honored and pleased to announce that Icetec Inc. has developed the world's first commercially viable self-cooling device for use in beverage cans. Icetec is about to mass-produce the devices, with the conviction that years of R&D and test-runs have eliminated most concerns about production costs, safety, effects on the environment, and cooling speed. No one, except Icetec, has yet developed a self-cooling device that can bring down the temperature of a can's contents from thirty degrees Celsius to four to five degrees Celsius within a minute. With Icetec, it takes only fifteen seconds.

    The thought of how convenient it would be to have cool drinks without the help of a refrigerator was the inspiration behind Icetec, and I hope others will find these self-cooling cans a more convenient way to enjoy cold beverages.

    During the past few years, I have faced many technical difficulties and discouragements; nevertheless, overcoming such obstacles is what made the technical improvements behind the Icecan possible. Specialists in the industry have now accepted the self-cooling technology of the Icecan, and Icetec Inc. will enter the marketplace in the near future.
